Does Evolution of Combat IV run on Mac OS?

No, this mod is created for Windows only. Mac OS users could run Evolution of Combat IV in a Windows dual boot.

How do I install Evolution of Combat IV?

Follow the install instructions provided on the download page.

Why won't the mod install?

You may need to allow read/write privelages in your Jedi Academy directory, follow this tutorial. Also try running the installer as an administrator to give it permission to install the mod.

How do I launch the mod?

You don't run EoCIV through Jedi Academy, you launch it through the "Evolution of Combat IV.exe" launcher program. This program will also keep the mod up to date automatically. If you are experiencing issues with launching the mod, please make sure you have the latest version of the launcher, which you can download here.

"Please make sure you have installed EoCIV correctly."

This error will show when you launch the mod if you haven't installed into the correct folder. Make sure you didn't install to /GameData/GameData/ instead of /GameData/.

"An exception occurred during a WebClient request"

If you get this error when updating Evolution of Combat IV, try and run the launcher as an administrator. Also, make sure you don't have any game files open during the update.

Can I run this mod in a 1920x1080 resolution?

Yes! 1080p is one of many supported widescreen resolutions.

How do I create a multiplayer game?

Run the supplied .bat file in the Evolution_of_Combat_IV folder to create a multiplayer server, you can tweak the game settings in the .cfg file.

Why can't my friends see my server?

Check that you have the correct ports open on your firewall or forwarded on your router. The recommended ranges are 28060-28062, 28070-28081, 29060-29099.

Why does my game keep crashing?

Try deleting your SerenitySaberSystems folder in My Documents (be aware this will delete your saves) and restart the game. Try and play without changing any video options to see if that helps.

I can't see any servers in the server browser?

Check your network connection. It may be that there are no servers currently being hosted. If you feel this is a problem however, try the solution to "Why can't my friends see my server?".

"User Interface is version 6, expected 7."

If you get this message try and re-install Jedi Academy or Evolution of Combat IV.

There are no servers online!
